Biographies

Andy Coravos is the CEO/Co-Founder of HumanFirst, a cloud-based technology company for the life sciences. The Atlas platform by HumanFirst provides comprehensive insights on precision measures and multi-modal technologies, including AI-powered biomarkers and COAs, to accelerate drug development.‍ To date, HumanFirst has curated more than 15,000 digital measures and biomarkers captured from more than 3,100 digital health technologies deployed across 1,700 clinical trials, all backed by more than 9,000 pieces of evidence. In addition to her work with HumanFirst, Coravos is also a research collaborator at the Harvard-MIT Center for Regulatory Sciences. Formerly, she served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the FDA working in the Digital Health Unit (DHU), focusing on the Pre-Cert program and policies around software-as-a-medical-device and AI/ML. Coravos has also worked as a software engineer at a leading digital therapeutic company and as a healthcare consultant at both KKR, a private equity firm, and McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm.

Philip Jeng is the COO & co-founder of Think Bioscience, a biotech startup focused on developing novel small molecules for historically challenging targets. Prior to Think Bioscience, he worked in Corporate Development at Neurophth Therapeutics and held an entrepreneur-in-residence role as a Harvard Blavatnik Fellow. At ZS Associates, he advised clients on strategy, market access, and market research projects. He began his career in the Process Development Rotational Program (PDRP) at Genentech. Philip holds a BS in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard.

Jen Herbach is the CEO and Co-Founder of Adventris Pharmaceuticals, an early-stage biotech company that develops cancer vaccines. She has more than a decade of biotech industry experience bringing novel oncology drugs to market, across companies including Onyx/Amgen, InterMune/Genentech, Exelixis, and Amunix. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Masters from the University of Cambridge, and a BA from Amherst College.
